How to collect hair samples for fungal analysis

• Pluck one or several hairs using forceps (or your fingers, if the hair is very brittle)
• Make sure the hair follicle is included, as this is where the fungal growth is  concentrated
• Place inside a Dermapak
• Label with (at minimum) patient name, date of birth, date of sampling
• Store at room temperature
